How To Apply
Please read the detailed instructions before starting the Online Apply.
Online Registration Process
The Online Registration process requires the candidate to first register on this website through Register NewUser Link.After successful registration the registration details will be sent to the applicant through an E-mail intimation.

Online Apply Process
  • After successful registration process login through userid and password. On successful login, online application form will be display .

  • The online application form is divided into tab1-tab9 ,as follows.tab6 and tab7 is only applicable for group A posts.

  • tab 1:Post Details

    On Successfull login, tab 1:Post Details will be enabled and selected and tab2-tab9 will be disabled. Fill all the mandatory fields of form tab 1:Post Details and press Save & Continue button.After sucessfully record saved tab 2:Personal Details will be enabled. You can also update the filled records of tab 1:Post Details and press Save & Continue button for record saved sucessfully.

  • tab 2:Personal Details

    Fill all the mandatory fields of form tab 2:Personal Details and press Save & Continue button.After sucessfully record saved tab 3:Qualification will be enabled. You can also update the filled records of tab 2:Personal Details and press Save & Continue button for record saved sucessfully.

  • tab 3:Qualification

    Fill all the mandatory fields of form tab 3:Qualification and press Save & Continue button.After sucessfully record saved tab 4:Experience will be enabled. You can also update the particular rows which you have filled through the Update button.And you can also insert the new record into new row and press Save & Continue button for record saved sucessfully.

  • tab 4:Experience

    If you have experience ,Fill all the mandatory fields of form and press Save & Continue button.After sucessfully record saved tab 5:General Details will be enabled. You can also update the particular rows which you have filled through the Update button.And you can also insert the new record into new row and press Save & Continue button for record saved sucessfully. If you don't have experience skip this tab through the Skip link.

  • tab 5:General Details

    Fill all the mandatory fields of form tab 5:General Details and press Save & Continue button.After sucessfully record saved tab 6:Referees Details will be enabled for group A posts or tab 8:UploadDocuments will be selected for Group B and C posts. You can also update the filled records of tab 5:General Details and press Save & Continue button for record saved sucessfully.

  • tab 6:Referees Details

    Fill all the mandatory fields of form tab 6:Referees Details for group A posts and press Save & Continue button.After sucessfully record saved tab 7:Country Visited will be enabled. You can also update the particular rows which you have filled through the Update button.And you can also insert the new record into new row and press Save & Continue button for record saved sucessfully.

  • tab 7:Country Visited

    Fill all the mandatory fields of form tab 7:Country Visited for group A posts and press Save & Continue button.After sucessfully record saved tab 8:UploadDocuments will be selected. You can also update the particular rows which you have filled through the Update button.And you can also insert the new record into new row and press Save & Continue button for record saved sucessfully. you can also skip this tab through the Skip link.

  • tab 8:Upload Documents

    Mandatory documents *are compulsory to uploaded for all category. Caste certificate are compulsory to uploaded for SC/ST/OBC category. Caste certificate and PWD certificate are compulsory to uploaded for PWD category. Institute ID are compulsory to uploaded for Regular/Project Employee of IIT Kanpur and other IIT's candidates.

    Documents: All documents should be uploaded in jpg ,jpeg , png and pdf format. To upload your Documents use Browse button to select the jpg ,jpeg ,png,pdf file and press Submit. Document size should not be more than 1MB.

    Photograph: Photo should not be more than six month before the date of advertisement. To upload your Photograph use Browse button to select the .jpg or .png file and press Submit. Photo size should not be more than 30KB.

    Signature:A scanned signature of the candidate. To upload your signature use Browse button to select the .jpg or .png file and press Submit. Signature size should not be more than 20KB.

  • tab 9:Appl.Preview/PayFees/FinalSubmit

    If candidate have, No Application Fees

    You can Application preview through the Application preview link before pressing the FinalSubmit button. After successful submission the candidate may take a printout of his/her full application which will be displayed in .pdf format and your application status will be Applied.If, your application status partially submitted that means you have not completed the application form and you can edit your application form through the Edit Form link.

    Edit form will be not allowed if your application status will be Applied


    If candidate have ,Application Fees

    You can Application preview through the Application preview link before pressing the Make Fee Payemnt button.After pressing on Make Fee Payemnt application fee page will be display and your application status will be Payment Pending.After successful payment click on Final Submission button and your application status will be Applied and candidate may take a printout of his/her full application and payment receipt which will be displayed in .pdf format .

    If, your application status is partially submitted that means you have not completed the application form and you can edit your application form through the Edit Form link.

    You can pay the fee through the pay here link or through the Edit Form link.

    Please make sure the payment of application fee for final submission. Without application fee you could not print the application pdf and your application will be not submitted.


  • The Application fee of Rs. 1000/- & Rs. 500/-(for SC/ST Applicants) for Group A post and 700/- for Group B and Group C post must be paid through Net Banking or Credit/Debit card option

  • Please don't send any hard copy of your Online filled application form and relevant documents.
