► PG Online Admission Portal is for M.Tech./M.Des./MS(Research)/Ph.D. programs only.

► Before processing the application all the scanned documents should be in .jpg or .png format
► Please provide genuine academic, personal, e-mail information and mobile no as these are used for
communication & verification.
► Few steps are there
(Step 1)→ Registration process.
(Step 2)→ Submission of Application form.
(Step 3)→ All scanned documents should be in (.jpg or .png) format. and photograph and signature size should be maximam 40 kb and other documents should be maximam 600 kb.
(Step 4)→ Pay the Application Fees through payment gateway Via (AXIS Bank) or by the credit /Debit card.
(Step 5)→ Final Submission.

► All the applicants should register before you login.
► With out register Applicant can not login.
► In registration you must be enter valid User Id,Password and Email Id.
► Registration Applicant will receive Login Credential in the registered Email-id .
► After registration, Applicant can login with his/her Userid/Password.
► After login, apllicant can start filling the PGOnline Application Form.
► Please fill your name as per your Certificate.
► Please fill your date of birth as mentioned in your Certificate.
► Please fill your full parent's name as per mentioned your Certificate.
► Category (General/OBC/OBC-NCL/ST/SC).
► Nationality → Only for Indian residence .
► If you are Physically with Disability(PwD) select → Yes.
► Select your marital status.
► Separate application must be filled for each department and programmes.
► Please do not submit multiple applications for the same department and programme.
► Degree gets populated depending on the value of selected department.
► Select your status Full Time/Part Time/External.Please Read PG Manual CareFully.
► Part Time ►The Institute also offers part-time postgraduate programmes leading to the M.Tech./MS (Research) /Ph.D degrees for professionally employed personnel such as working engineers, scientists and teachers who can, while employed, attend regular classes as per schedule of the Institute.
► Fulfillment of GATE requirement, wherever applicable, may be waived for such candidates. This is also applicable to the part-time candidates seeking admission to the MS (Research) programme.
► External ►A candidate working in an R & D establishment which is equipped with the necessary research and library facilities may be considered for admission only to the M.Tech./M.Des./MS (Research) and Ph.D (Engineering & Earth Sciences) programmes.Such a candidate must be sponsored by his/her employer and must have been in employment with the sponsoring organization for at least 2 year at the time of admission.
► If you apply Directly PhD (Program) after completed B.TECH/BE from Centrally Funded Technical University then Click → Yes Other wise → No.
► If → Yes, BE/BTech Overall percentage Marks.
► Select your Centrally Funded Technical University/Institute.
► Select your financial status.category are there Institute Assistance Required/Sponsored/Self Sponsored/Fellowship/Institute Project.
► Enter how many papers published in Journal.
► Enter how many papers presented in Conference.
►The applicant must be an employee of a recognized organization with at least two years of service at the time of admission and be engaged in professional work in the area to which admission is sought.
►For fellows and employees of research labs, centers of excellence, and other organizations such as DRDO,CSIR,DAE,DoS,DIT,DST,DBT,ICMR,ICAR,NGRI,GSI,Wadia Institute etc.,fully funded by the government (central/state),the minimum employment requirement will be only one year.
►For an employee of IIT Kanpur (project or regular) with a valid GATE score at the time of seeking admission for part-time M.Tech./MS (Research)program, the requirement of two years of service may be waived.
►Fulfillment of GATE requirement, wherever applicable, may be waived for such candidates. This is also applicable to the part-time candidates seeking admission to the MS (Research) program,
►For fellows and employees of research labs, centers of excellence, and other organizations such as DRDO, CSIR, DAE, DoS, DIT, DST, DBT, ICMR, ICAR, NGRI, GSI, Wadia Institute etc., fully funded by the government (Central/State), the minimum employment requirement will be only one year.

► Select institute Name and Place.
► If your institute does not exit in the list then select "other" and enter the institute nane.
► Select your qualifying degree & discipline.If discipline is not mentioned in the list then select other and enter discipline.
► If you have completed your degree then mentioned year. (Other Wise Click on Expected Year)
► Rank (University/Institute).
► Enter your previous exam percentage semester wise.
► Overall Percentage.
► If you have other degree then please provide all the details.
► If you have any work experience then provide all details correctly .
► Give atleast two referee information who can help us with his/her assessment of your academic potential for Ph.D.
► Referee will get "Request for Reference" after your application form status is "Applied" (Application submission,upload document,payment).
► Please fill referee name completely.
► Please fill referee Designation.
► Please fill referee Email.
► Please fill referee Address.
► Recheck all the documents and then submit the form.
► If you want to edit before submission press "Cancel" button.so that you can edit the application details.
► Once you sure about the application press "Submit".
► The Status of your application is "Partial Submission".
► Please go to the next section of "Upload Document".
► Upload your good quality documents.More Details Please Click Here.
► After the documents are uploaded status "Upload Document"
► Press "save and continue" button to go to the Payment Gateway.
► If you want to modify/add documents then press "Cancel" button on Application Fee Payment Page, you return on Applicant home page then you click on " Modify/Add documents" link.
► For General/OBC/OBC-NCL category Fee is 400 RS. other category 200 RS.
► Applicants may pay the fee online by Net Banking or by Credit/Debit card.

► Once your payment is successful,our system will display transaction id and amount.
► Press Final Submission Button and status of your application will be changed "Applied".
► Please note your application reference no. for your future reference.
► Concerned Departments will verify the uploaded documents with all application having status "Applied".
► You do not need to send us the hard-copy of the application form.
