General Guidelines to the candidates

• The Starting Date of submitting online request for accommodation is Tuesday, 25 November 2025 (10:30 hours).
• The portal has been enabled for the department's applicants Click Here
• Candidates are requested to make the payment only after logging in to the PG Admissions Accommodation Portal by using their Application Number.
• For MTech : Use Application No.[e.g. MT25....] for Login
• For Others: Use last numeric digits of Application No.[e.g. IITK\Ph.D\EE\2520204514 use only 2520204514] for Login
• Candidates coming for the test/ interview to take admission in various PG programmes shall be provided accommodation in various hostels as per availability. Female candidates will be accommodated in the Female Hostels only.
• The candidates must submit their accommodation requests and make payment two (02) days prior to the date of their arrival, and the booking of accommodations will be finalised and informed only to these candidates. No last-minute requests will be entertained for booking of accommodation.
• The names of the candidates and hostels allotted to them shall be displayed on the PG Admission Accommodation Portal two days prior to the date of arrival of candidates.The Candidates are requested to check the aforesaid portal regularly.
• Check in and check out period is from 8.00 AM to 8.00 AM.
• The accommodation charges will be Rs. 474*N + 26 [HA office Charges] (N=Number of night)Including GST.The above accommodation charges cover accommodation, bedding, and food charges.
• Candidates should apply for accommodation immediately on receipt of the call letter as limited rooms are available in hostels.
• Candidates should apply for accommodation after paying the accommodation fees in SBI-collect (ACCOMMODATION CHARGES FOR ADMISSION TEST):- Click Here
• Candidates should follow the rules and regulations of the hostel and shall not be indulged in such activities as may vitiate the peaceful atmosphere of the hostel and affect the other residents.
